Final

Typology-Collection-Routine

During the last few weeks of the semester focus on daily habits, routines and collections. The collections could be existing ones or one you start for this assignment. Research the term Typology (I'm thinking of the anthropological/archeological use of this word).

Digital Person

The next project is called The Digital Person. Originally based on an interview with this guy, I am also interested in anything that has to do with living in a digital world. Finger print and cornea scanners, surveillance cameras, identity theft, micro chips under your skin, consider it all!
Do some google image research on all things that pop into your head after reading this. Then brainstorm about how you could turn this into a series of images.
Bring ideas and sketches to class on Monday.

Printing Cues

Remember to flatten your image. Save as TIFF. Copy file to desktop. Eject your jump drive or portable hard drive.
If you haven't added $$ to your papercut account, do that upstairs in the output center.

The majority of imagery must be original.
You must use at least three sheets of paper, at least 11x17.
Each sheet must contain at least 4 images.

CRIT Monday October 24th! No excuses!

Photoshop (un)Truth

Create a small series of images that explores Photoshop as a tool of deception. The images can be obviously manipulated, like adbusters, or subtly manipulated like most fashion and advertising images.
